Surecomp takes pride in announcing that la Caixa of Barcelona, one of the largest banking groups in Spain, has commenced the role out of Surecomp's S.W.I.F.T. ReadyGold IMEX Trade Finance system into its branch network comprising many thousands of branches. la Caixa implemented the Thin Client IMEX Multi-Entity version on the UNIX platform.

IMEX Thin Client innovations give la Caixa the ability to:

•  Work in a distributed mode in all its branches without requiring any client software other than a standard browser.
•  Implement an advanced workflow based on integration between IMEX and the Bank's Panagon imaging System from FileNet.
•  Produce extremely high quality output documents via the utilization of Microsoft Word as the IMEX text editor and document composer.
•  Reduce its maintenance costs resulting from the utilization of this new technology.
